Dexter accidentally gives his mother superpowers, when she is hit by a ray of energy. She does not even notice that she has superpowers, but acts like a superhero.
Dexter creates a new robot Ultramark 2000 to assist him, but when the robot starts controlling his lab and tries to destroy Dexter, he must find a way to destroy it.
Dexter adopts a Labrador Retriever; when he teaches the dog to speak human language, he turns out to be really annoying, and so tries to reverse the effect.
Dexter finds the exact opposite of his family, a hyperactive boy that is like Dee-Dee, with scientist parents, like Dexter. Sensing to fit in, he switches places with the boy, remaining with the scientist parents while the boy goes to his family. Soon enough, Dexter's "new" family starts to annoy him, and tries to return back to his family.
Dexter tries to avoid being pushed into the family's new swimming pool by his father, since he cannot swim and he is afraid of water, which his father knows and is teasing him.
